I am joining in the Waltzingmouse PJ party today - challenge 2, Snow is Falling.
Here is my card using the wonderful new Warm Fuzzies. You have got to love him!
I added the 'snow' which is the wonderful chunky white embossing enamel by Stampendous to add texture. You sprinkle some on and heat gently from underneath. I added that after stamping and just brushed it away from the areas I wanted to colour.
He has a shiny red breast using a Sakura gloss pen and some white glitter and I white embossed some tiny snowflakes too.
Thanks for looking and I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with for the challenges!

Photo Pocket Page Challenge in the Moxie Fab World
I recently bought some pocket scrapbooking goodies and I did make a start along with some photos but I am really a cardmaker at heart, so inspired by the new Paper Crafts magazine and the lovely Moxie Fab World blog here is my card for the Photo Pocket Page challenge.
I used the Simple Stories 24/Seven pad - the front of the card is asymmetric and ends at the typewriter keys and the dotty paper decorates the inside. The Mama Elephant Type It stamp fitted perfectly in the speech bubble and I stamped the sheets of typewriter paper from heavy vellum.
Here's the inside of the card using the lovely Cas-Ual Fridays Shenanigans set.

Wplus9 Step It Up challenge
For Wplus9's birthday celebrations this week is Step It Up, adding dimension to cards.
For my card I have used the Dockside Die anchor. I cut 2 layers of white card and one of the red and navy cardstock to make a classic nautical card. I love the look and feel of layered dies!
You can see just a little of the dimension here too

Less Is More week 134 - washi tape
For this week's Less Is More challenge I have used some navy blue deckchair stripe washi tape.
I die-cut the Papertrey Ink 'hello' on white card , covered a piece of scrap card with lines of the wash tape and stuck that behind the word. Layered that onto a narrow navy blue border and it's finished. Easy and contemporary - just the way I like my cards!
Thanks so much for looking!

Winter Berries
This is one of my Christmas card designs using a beautiful wintery stamp by A.Muse Studio called Beautiful Botanicals 2. I love the quality of these stamps, red rubber and already cling mounted and ready to go!
To get the berries red and 3-d I first added some red Sakura sparkle pen to cover the black ink - that took 2 coats actually - and then some Ranger Liquid Pearls.
These oh so shiny wired red berries were a great find from The Ribbon Girl. I wish I'd bought more than one pack now!
Thanks so much for looking and thank you for all our comments - I really appreciate them all.

Less Is More week 43 - a bit of bling
This week at Less Is more the recipe is 'a bit of bling'. Easy for me as I just love my Swarovski hotfix crystals and a few usually find their way onto my cards!
I love this Nordic Winter set so much and have made several different Christmas cards using the set so far. My favourite stamp of all of them are these 2 little reindeers.
They look wonderful embossed in white on this vibrant blue card by A.Muse. I used super fine white embossing powder so that the reindeers didn't lose their tiny stitched detail. A little lilac crystal in the center of the snowflake and voila!
Thank you for looking today! I am off to see all your wonderful creations for this week's challenge now with a nice cuppa :)

Glittered baubles
I have been busy making lots of these fun glittered baubles to match my living room where they will hang on an LED lit white paper tree. And yes, my living room has one lime green feature wall!
I simply used watered down PVA glue, swirled it around inside the plain glass baubles, turned upside down to drain the excess glue and then added the glitter. You have to be VERY patient and let them dry over several days but gradually they will lose their cloudy look and turn very sparkly.
I used Doodlebug's Sugar Coating Chunky glitter as it caught the light better than fine glitter - I think they will look fabulous under the LED lights!
Recipe:
plain glass baubles
PVA glue
Doodlebug Sugar Coating glitter in Limeade and Lily White
May Arts faux silk wrinkle ribbon in Parrot Green from Pretty Little Ribbon shop
White silky crush ribbon from Ribbon Girl

Less Is More week 33 ....take 3
Look at that - the Limettes have made it to 355 cards so far!!
Here's my third card for the challenge at Less Is More -
And look, no stamping!! Just a punched border on kraft card, a fabulous wooden bird from Kaisercraft and some lime green accents. Can you tell I'm in a lime green phase? Have been for some time now actually!
The little heart is a tiny scrap of paper made into an epoxy sticker using a Shape Studio tool heart. Fun to do!
Thanks so much for all your lovely comments and especially your good wishes for our niece Lucy. I'm happy to say that she is up and running around as usual now.

Hello, this week's challenge at Less Is More is colour - metallics and here's my card....
Metallics are a bit hard to capture aren't they? Here's a close up so you can see the silver embossed words and the cute little mirror heart. The base card is a gorgeous gunmetal pearlescent card too, a little lighter than it looks here and very pretty when you tilt it.
Thanks so much for all your lovely comments - I am off to see everyone's wonderful creations now!

Hello, well here I am back with this week's challenge at Less Is More, take 3 challenges.
I have used my new Paper Smooches stamps, Boob Tubes. I am loving these retro televisions! And I'm so happy that Make The Day Special in the UK is now stocking Paper Smooches.
For my 3 challenges I have chosen -
week 6 -off the edge
week 9 - a touch of red
week 19 - in the frame
I simply stamped the 3 televisions, 2 of them off the edge, and added some black Sakura gloss pen and some red glitter then drew a frame with the same Sakura pen. Hope you like it!

Blue Poppies
Hello, today's card was inspired by a stunning card by Beth. I love that poppy digital stamp!
I printed it out twice and cut out the poppies to give them a little dimension and coloured them with Copics. My colouring is NOWHERE near as fantastic as Beth's beautiful shading but I am pleased with the depth of colour nonetheless.
Card recipe:
Digital stamp by Christine Dark (Sketching Stamper)
Copics
make a wish by Papertrey Ink

Less is More week 27 - colour!
This week's challenge over at Less Is More is colour - to create something using the colours of your nation's flag, so for me it's red , white and blue since I live in England.
Red white and blue always make me think of the seaside and sailing so I've made this nautical notecard - hope you like it!
I must say thank you so very much for all the lovely welcoming comments last week. Limettes really are a wonderful bunch aren't they?
The sailor's hat is decoupaged with an extra layer for the brim which I coloured with a Copic pen. I had no matching red card so I coloured a scrap of white card with the same red pen and cut a fine slither to add a little more red. The layers and 'waves' are navy blue linen card which is so tactile.
Here's a close-up of the sailor's hat -
Card recipe:
stamps - Papertrey Ink Out To Sea
ink - Versafine Majestic Blue
Copic red pen
