Less Is More week 31 - metallic

Hello, this week's challenge at Less Is More is colour - metallics and here's my card....

Metallics are a bit hard to capture aren't they? Here's a close up so you can see the silver embossed words and the cute little mirror heart. The base card is a gorgeous gunmetal pearlescent card too, a little lighter than it looks here and very pretty when you tilt it.

Thanks so much for all your lovely comments - I am off to see everyone's wonderful creations now!

card recipe:

houndstooth stamp Papertrey Ink
words Hero Arts
heart mirror a very old Heidi Swapp one
Versacolour ink in Opera Pink
Ranger super-fine ep in silver

  9. I love this Penny - the simplicity of the houndstooth background, the mirror and the sentiment is very appealing and needs nothing more. I've really enjoyed looked through your blog and I can't wait to see what you come up with next.
